Overview

Kathmandu Shigatse Lhasa Tibet Tour – 5 Nights 6 Days allows you explore Tibet and its cultural and historical sites in detail. The trip of Kathamndu Sigathse Lhasa tour starts from the Kodari border or Kerung/Gyirong border and concludes following the itinerary of Friendship highway in Tibet.  You will visit Shigatse, the second largest city of Tibet where the stunning Panchen Lama’s Tashilompo Monastery is located. After the exploration of Shigatse city, you will proceed ahead to Lhasa via Gyantse exploring Khumbun and Phalkhor monasteries. Lhasa is the city of sunshine and it holds numbers of cultural and historical sites such as Polala Palace, Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monateries and etc.

Caution!

Due to the devastating earthquake happened in April 2105, we are no longer able to operate tours via Kodari border as the Kodari border is yet to be opened until further notification. However, tours are being run via Lhasa and Kerung/Gyirong border.

Day 02: Kerung – Xegar (4300M): 252KM - Shigatse (3,950M): 224KM
Day 03: Shigatse – Gyantse (3,950M): 90KM- Lhasa (3,650M): 261KM
Day 04/05: Two full days sightseeing in Holy city Lhasa:
Day 05: Lhasa – Kathmandu or Mainland China by flight/train
