Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m/4,264 ft)
Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, Himalayan Glacier will arrange to pick us up from the airport. We will then be transferred to our hotel. During the late afternoon, we can either visit Himalayan Glacier’s office or take a rest at our hotel room . Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour by visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among the foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of river Bagmati and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva. The Bauddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. Included meals:Breakfast

Scenic Mt. Everest Flight and Sightseeing Tour of Patan, Khokana and Bungmati
Early in the morning we leave our hotel for an hour-long mountain flight and acquire the closest possible aerial views of the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest, the world’s second highest peak, Kanchenjunga and other high Himalayas along with a clear glimpse of the Tibetan Plateau. In the afternoon, we visit Patan, Khokana and Bungmati. Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Patan Durbar Square is rich in ancient arts and architecture. Khokana is famous for the vernacular village and its mustard-oil seed industrial heritage. Bungamati somewhat seems untouched by time. Sightseeing: Thimi, Bhaktapur, Changu Narayan and Nagarkot
Thimi is about 10 kilometers east of Kathmandu and is famous for earthen wares, masks, puppets, hand woven clothes and other handicrafts. The place is also well-known for its sweet beaten rice grown on tradition fields. We also visit Bhakatpur, an irresistible city with an authentic local lifestyle preserved over centuries of isolation from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. While in the city square, we get to admire the Nyata-Pola Temple, the Golden Gate, water spouts and the 55 Window Palace which merge together to provide an ambience of a magical outdoor theater to its visitors. We also immerse ourselves in the authentic delicacy of the locals in Bhaktapur. Changu Narayan is the oldest temple in the Kathmandu valley and boasts of being the oldest pagoda style building of Nepal. Today we also visit Nagarkot, a village in Bhaktapur which sits at 7,200 ft and boasts stunning Himalayan vistas. It is also renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. Depending on your choice, we will visit Nagarkot either for sunrise or for sunset. Included meals:Breakfast

Nagarkot to Daman: 87km, 3-4 hours
Daman is 80 kilometers south from Kathmandu and about three hours drive deep into the mountains through sparse settlements and Rhododendron forest. Daman is a popular resort town located at an altitude of about 2400 meters above sea level and known for the wide range of Himalayan views seen from there including Mount Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, and Cho Oyu. The view tower at Daman offers the views of an amazingly large section of the Himalayan range stretching from Mt. Everest in the East to Mt. Dhaulagiri in the West. We also enjoy hiking around the village and get acquainted with the local lifestyle. In the evening, there will be dinner with traditional Nepali cultural program. Overnight at Daman resort. Daman to Bandipur: 166km, 4-5 hours
Bandipur is located at an elevation of 1030m on a mountain saddle about 145 km to the west of Kathmandu on the way to Pokhara. The hill-top settlement offers a great treat to the urban eyes hungry for nature's company, especially the panoramic views of the Annapurnas. The town showcases beautiful wooden houses inspired by centuries old house building style of Kathmandu. While here, we could also visit Siddha Cave which is famous in the area. Overnight at Bandipur. Bandipur to Pokhara: 73km, 2-3 hours
After breakfast, we drive to Pokhara, also known as The Lake City owing to the large number of lakes in the city. Upon our arrival in Pokhara, the beautiful lake city, we are rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri (8,167m/26,794ft), Manaslu (8,156m/26,759ft), Machhapuchhre (6,993m/22,943ft), the five peaks of Annapurna and others. We check-in to our hotel and take a rest. We may also stroll in the streets of Pokhara and just enjoy being in one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal. Overnight in Pokhara. Sightseeing in Pokhara
Early in the morning we leave for Sarangkot, a hill that overlooks the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges in the north and Pokhara city in the south. From here, we catch amazing views of the sun as it rises in the mighty Himalayas. We then head back to Pokhara and continue touring the city’s landmarks. Davis Falls is a unique waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no end. The Shiva Cave is located near Davis Fall and houses a shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, a primary Hindu God. We also do some boating in Phewa Lake, the largest lake in Pokhara and visit Bindyabasini Temple located at the center of the Lake. We visit the famous International Mountain Museum (IMM) that records, documents and chronicles the past and present development of mountaineering activities in the world and the Himalayas in particular. We also tour the Tibetan refugee camp and witness how the refugees keep themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicraft items. Overnight in Pokhara. Pokhara to Lumbini via Tansen: 205km, 4-5 hours
Today we drive to Tansen which is 125 kilometers from Pokhara. It is a hill town that offers excellent views of the snow covered Himalayan peaks. On clear days, it is possible to see the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Manaslu, Gauri Shankar and others. Tansen is also famous for hand woven Dhaka cloth, also used to make the Nepali national cap (Topi). From Tansen, we will continue our journey to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, about 75 kilometers from Tansen. Around evening, we can a stroll in the local market. Overnight at Lumbini. Sightseeing in Lumbini
Lumbini is of the world's most religious and historical places. We devote the whole day visiting as many sites in Lumbini as possible. The place is filled with monuments, temples, and historic sites making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. First we visit the Mayadevi temple which is built on the exact place where Buddha was born. We spend some time wandering around the gardens of the temple. Next, visit the museum and peace pagoda. Some of the most important landmarks in Lumbini include: Ashoka's Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka (249 BC) on the spot of Buddha's birth which also has the oldest inscription in Nepal. There are many Buddhist Temples founded by devotees from different countries: Tibet, China, Japan, Burma, Korea, etc. Overnight at Lumbini. Included meals:Breakfast

Lumbini to Chitwan National Park: 197km, 4-5 hours
We take an early morning breakfast and drive to Chitwan, about 180 kilometers from Lumbini and a 5 hour's drive. After checking in at the hotel, there will be a briefing on the activities we will be engaged in during our stay in Chitwan. We walk on the banks of the Rapti River to enjoy the sunset in the sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan. In the evening, we enjoy dinner along with a brief cultural program showcasing the tribal dances unique to the Chitwan region of Nepal. Overnight in Chitwan. Included meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Chitwan National Park
Early in the morning, we will be mounted on elephants for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in their natural habitat (Optional). After breakfast, we visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing the elephants. During the afternoon we can drive through the jungles followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. While canoeing, we may get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds. Or, we may even go for bird watching or nature walks and come closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in the park. Overnight in Chitwan. Included meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu: 127km, 4-5 hours
Early in the morning, we engage ourselves in bird-watching as Chitwan National Park is also home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds. We then have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. We reach there by evening and enjoy an authentic Nepali cuisine on our farewell dinner hosted by Random Adventures. Included meals:Breakfast
